Sven Bergmann is the Senior Advisor, Anti-Illicit Trade Strategies for the Partnership for Safe Medicines. With over 20 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, External Affairs and Brand Protection, he has advised Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, trade-associations and governments on complex business strategy and illicit trade issues. He has extensive experience engaging with government and non-governmental organizations, law enforcement and private industry to shape and advance anti-illicit trade enforcement and policy in the U.S. and abroad. His experience spans across sectors, including luxury goods, industrial, automotive, shipping, pharmaceutical, liquor and tobacco.  

He has become a scholar and recognized expert on illicit trade issues, as well as strategies, programs and technologies to combat illicit trade. He is published regularly and is a sought-after speaker and panelist at Anti-Illicit Trade Conferences.  Sven Bergmann holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is a Dipl. Ing. From FH Pforzheim in Germany.
