Ayse Baker is currently Head of Regulatory Affairs and Pharmaco-vigilance at Chugai Pharma USA.

Previously Head of Global Regulatory Affairs in Life-Sciences segment of GE Healthcare and the Director of Combination Products & Medical Devices in the Global Regulatory Affairs organization at Sanofi.Prior to joining Sanofi, Ayse held regulatory positions with increasing responsibilities at Baxter, Bayer and Hoffmann-La Roche. Her experiences include scientific and regulatory strategies for small molecule and biologics products in development and marketed products in multiple therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, hematology, diagnostic imaging, diabetes and inhalation products. Ayse Baker started her career in pharmaceutical industry at Abbott Laboratories as a research scientist with focus on research & development of in vitro immuno - diagnostic devices for market launch.

Ayse Baker received a PhD in Chemistry from University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her post- doctoral fellowship at Loyola University Stritch School Medicine in Department of Hematology and Oncology. She also holds an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
